Was having a discussion with a friend earlier and I mentioned how we went from building the first airplane to landing on the moon within 60 years and he asked me who is “we”.
My country just recently landed a rover on the moon, I am definitely proud of that but is it stupid to feel proud about something that another nation did half a century ago?
