This is so embarrassing to ask about, but I noticed that inside my vagina there is a soft, smooth, round thing. I can push on either side of it, it seems to divide it into two places, and it feels pretty thick or large. I’m worried because I don’t see it on any vaginal diagrams. It doesn’t hurt when I touch it. I’ve seen a gynecologist before and they said everything looked normal, I didn’t bring up my concern since she said everything was fine, but I don’t think your supposed to have two openings down there. To clarify there is one hole (my vaginal opening) but inside there is the soft thing that divides it into two “chambers”. I’m kind of freaking out about it. Sometimes sex is a little painful but I can’t tell if it’s because I’m not wet enough or if it’s because of this. I also sometimes struggle to insert tampons, and I find that they usually feel uncomfortable and start to come out but maybe I’m just not putting them far enough in. Does anyone else have this?! Is it normal?? Should I see my gyno again and tell her about it?
