Has anyone else noticed using reddit that you will see a comment and think huh, sounds like a man wrote that but they have a female avatar. You go on their profile and they are clearly a man - either they have photos or they’ve posted some story that starts with ‘me (M28)’ or something like that.
Why are so many men on reddit surface level posing as women?
I don’t even want to suggest it’s necessarily something sinister, I just find it… strange? Like why?
And I know some of them could be trans women figuring out their identity, but the profiles I’ve seen seem to be comfortable with being male and aren’t subscribed to any transgender or lgbtq subs.
