So, my son(16) was dating a girl all summer and recently he told me she broke up with him because her father didn’t want them together. Come to find out, he broke up with her because his best friend told him he would be better off dating a girl that’s older than him. So he sent his ex a message saying, “We have to be friends because my mom is making me focus on school.” Then sent a text to his new girlfriend the same day saying he was single and ready to date her. He’s also talking to multiple girls on Snapchat and playing with their feelings. So I made him call his original girlfriend and confess he lied and was talking to other girls all this time and it wasn’t his moms decision for them to break up. I just felt she needed to know the type of person he really is instead of thinking she missed out on what could have been.
