one of my cache nvme drives started reporting btrfs errors and SMART media errors, so I’ve replaced it successfully, BUT I hate waste and can’t help but wonder if there is some use for it … somewhere!

the answer might be obvious here … RMA or electronic recycle.

even if not for Unraid, any other uses for a degrading nvme drives worth considering? (open to ideas that include a solder kit, custom electronics, fun experiments, etc …)
