Hello everyone! Thanks again for being members of this community. Super grateful to be a part of this depth of knowledge as I begin my AIP journey.

Some background about this question:

I have a baby who has FPIES, which is a rare and serious food allergy (that he should grow out of by age 5, fingers crossed!). Unlike typical allergies for the “top 8” foods, we have to trial in EVERY SINGLE FOOD for him 10X over 1-2 weeks before it is considered “safe.” It’s not unlike AIP re-introduction. To be honest, I’m a little overwhelmed with adding a new set of restrictions. After 1 year of special-prep for my son, I was hoping we could have “family meals,” but alas we will have to wait.

So, after all this food trialing in my house - and in the FPIES community - we often ask what typical “safes” and “fails” are, and that’s what I hope to understand from AIP, also.

Specifically, what are your triggers? (I would have separated them out, but not allowed on Reddit polls, it seems.)
