I work in a school (not in the US) and the kids (teenagers) got an activity so I got an hour free, I was at the teachers room when another teacher entered, she seemed sad, upset and wanting to cry. I aproched her to talk or if I could help, she told me she just needed to talk so she told me her history. She got married a couple of years ago and always told her husband she didn’t wanted kids,he seemed to be ok to this, but then everything changed when he wanted kids, he pushed her to get pregnant; got into fertility treatments and had a couple of miscarriages. So she finally get pregnant had the kid but her relationship got bad, this guy never helped with anything he just leave for work and all that. They divorce and now she’s in charge of the kid, she told me she feels trapped on this situation, she didn’t wanted the kid and now she’s the primary caretaker because the dad,of course, got married again and have other kid. She just cried a lot and I didn’t knew what to say or do,but it really broke my heart for her and the kid (a girl) because none of them deserve that, when she stopped crying just thanked me and told me she felt better and leave. Im single and have no kids, but this really opened my eyes to the truth that is the forced pregnancy on women.
