Like, me.I’m pregnant and I won’t be getting an abortion. That isn’t because I think motherhood is the most important thing in the world ever, or I think motherhood is my entire identity and purpose. I just… welcome the child into my life. I don’t have a desire to get rid of them. I don’t care that there are people who would never have children; in fact, that is a very good thing. People having kids just because that’s just whatcha do is bad.

Anti-natalasists are free to hate me, but other than that, I would love it if childfree women and mothers got along. I feel like we actually aren’t all that fundamentally different. Im still the same person I was before I got pregnant. Also I think a lot of childfree women just tend to be cool people. Its nice to have other mom friends, but I don’t want the entirety of me to be defined by having a kid.
