So, I moved home from the city because of work after my parents had downsized into a 2 bed. I pay them £300 a month to live in the room but before this it was considered the ‘guest bedroom’.

My brother and his girlfriend are coming home tomorrow for the weekend and my mother asked me to sleep in the lounge in a sleeping bag while they were home. I said no and it resulted in an argument but in my perspective, I pay to rent the room and they could use what is effectively 2 nights of my rent to buy them a inflatable mattress just for one night.

Am I in the wrong?
