Hello. My boyfriend (30M) and I 25F) live together and have been together for 3 years. We’re going to the beach this weekend so I decided I wanted to get a new bikini for the occasion. I realllllly liked an orange bikini, I thought it really suits me, and sent pics to my boyfriend for him to tell me what his thoughts were. He said it was hot. After that, I took some other pics because I really thought I looked good looking on that.
My boyfriend recently has been judging girls who have boyfriends and upload their bikini pictures on Insta having a boyfriend.
I really liked the pics I took, so I decided to ask him what he thought of me uploading those pics on Insta. He said he was not okay with me posting this but that I was free to do what I want. But that if I did it he’d get angry most likely. He asked me why I wanted to upload this pic(it was a selfie btw, nothing too “extra”) and I told him because I thought I looked hot. He told me I get most likes from men and that if I wanted male attention. I told him no, that I just wanted to upload a pic I liked to my Insta and then I just wanted to tease him a bit so I told him “people are just going to see what you’re having for dinner and breakfast everyday.😏”
I’ve had pics on bikini on my Insta while being with my boyfriend and he’s been okay with that so I asked him why this would be different. He told me because those pics were in the beach and this one wasnt.
Am i being inconsiderate or disrespecting my boyfriend for still wanting to upload the pic?
