My Fiancé and I were talking about if we ever want kids (don’t worry the talk of children has been brought up a few times before the proposal, and the “yes”)

We are both very much still on the fence of we don’t know if we would want kids. Started talking pros/cons.

And like. We can’t really think of pros. His is pro is someone to take care of us at old age. Which I told him, we can’t guarantee our kids will like us and there of plenty of old people in homes alone. Who their multiple children do not visit.

What are some pros to having kids? My list of cons is very long.

Is “I want a child” a good enough reason? ( to me this seems selfish,? There should be alot more thought before having a kid imo)
