Birth control failed and I’m (33F) currently 5 weeks pregnant. He (40M) told me straight up that he doesn’t want it and wouldn’t want a baby “from this type of situation”. I can’t deny that I’m hurt by the way he said it but I also don’t expect anything different? If that makes sense. We’ve been part of the same friend group for over 15 years but only started sleeping together recently- about 5 months ago. He believes abortion is the best decision but I don’t know what the best choice is. I’ve known for 4 days but every day I change my mind about what I want to do. He said if I decide to keep the baby, I better not think this is going to force us in to a relationship. He then asked me if I have an abortion, would I still consider seeing him. My emotions are getting the best of me and I want to handle this situation as maturely as possible. Do I tell him I need space to think? Do I just tell him to f*ck off? Advice is needed. Thank you.
