My(15m) mom(54) married him(34) last year. I live with my dad who called my mom to tell her that the dog they raised together, my childhood dog, was going to be put down. My mom declined to be in the room, saying it would hurt too much. Her new husband told my dad that he shouldn’t let me be in the room since it will traumatize me.
