Earlier today I purchased a custom build pc from a someone on Facebook marketplace. He said he factory reset the computer but when I opened it, it, there was an account. I asked why this is still on there and he said he didn’t factory reset it but he deleted all the previous data off the drive. I tried doing a reset by holding shift and clicking restart but it had the error message “There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made” so I asked him if I could simply have the pin and go in and factory reset it from inside because it wasn’t working externally. He said he’d call me later and help me with it and then blocked me (he was maybe 16, he came to the meetup with his mother, I’m not sure if this played a role in him blocking me, maybe he thought I was lying and going to steal data) Regardless of that, is there any way to force reset the computer? It’s not working when I go to troubleshoot -> reset this pc -> remove everything. Any help is wildly appreciated
