So we have a CX5 but the built in sat nav is a bit lacking, i would rather be able to at least get goolge maps on it, maybe youtube. We went to a local car store and they suggested a box which i guess connects to it internally, it was about £200 with the fitting, it also allows the TV to remain on when driving which is another thing we were looking for.

Any views on this? I know we could go to Mazda for a quote to getting it upgraded but i cannot say i want to spend £500+ on such upgrade. Was hoping for something simple that just plugs in etc.
