That’s not good. The only people willing to listen to women about their own unique experiences regarding birth control are the anti-bc activists, the religious right, and the conservatives. I posted on reddit about my own experience with a doctor telling me that birth control doesn’t have side effects. I was called an idiot and a liar. I received threatening DMs and was told I was a shill for the right wing. I had some bad experiences with birth control, but over all I agree that it should be legal and accessible. The only people even wanting to listen to women without attacking them now a days are the right wingers who want to use our experiences to advocate for banning birth control.

The only people listening to the negative experiences without immediate insulting and threatening women are the right wingers. Eventually, I will age out of caring about birth control access. It’s frustrating to care about something and still want to say that there are negative side effects. I feel like liberals and people I thought were open minded are now trying to shut me down for saying that birth control has side effects and some doctors are not being honest. If the only people who will listen to me without attacking me or implying I am a crazy liar are republicans, then ok.
