I accidentally washed a light, unused, pocket tampon. I was folding clothes and afterwards found the laundered tampon on the floor. My first instinct was to freak out because I thought it was a juvenile (and I guess albino) rat. I somehow managed to get grossed out by some cotton on a string that I use every month.

Now that I feel dumb for my reaction, I’m mostly pissed I wasted a perfectedly good tampon.
