I have a cat who is 12 years old. For the past 12 years I have laughed about how stupidly picky my dumb fatty mcfats is. He will eat about half his food and then come meow at you for more food because it’s not “fresh” enough. So we play a game of me having to shake it up. He eats a little. Still not good enough. So then I pour the old food into a cup. Scoop new food. Pour the old food on top and voila he eats some more until his fat tummy is happy. What a dumb cat. 12 years of this.

Except. I’m browsing Reddit and one of the subs I’m in is complaining about the same thing. Lol. We have dumb cats. Check the comments.

Nope.

Apparently cat whiskers are super sensitive and my poor baby has been suffering in pain eating from the worst food bowl ever made for a cat. And now I’m on Amazon thankful for next day shipping so I can get my fat cat what he needs to eat happily. And making sure it’s raise because apparently I’m deforming his spine.

TLDR: For the past 12 years my cat has been suffering when he eats and all I did was laugh at him for being stupid except it was me. I was stupid.
