Hello, first wanted to express my gratitude for the people who put their time in this project and saved us from the dark times that would follow after revanced extended support stopped and videos stopped playing. I’ve been on revanced for over a month and it’s been going flawlessly!

One question I have is, at some point I saw somewhere being said that stopping the official YouTube app from being updated can help prevent possible future buffering issues that might appear. How valid is that? Because ive turned off automatic updates ever since I heard that so I update everything (except YouTube) manually. If it’s not valid i would happily go back to automatic because this manual updating can be a chore.
