For what it’s worth its my mattress- not that I want to make a big deal about it. I’ll certainly be the one replacing it. Also, I’m not trying to be a difficult guy and I know that it’s a hard time of the month for women.

However, if she knows she’s getting her period, I figured it would be sensible to maybe use a tampon or pad, (she seems to have no problem, using them during the day or at work), but she sleeps nude and bleeds over everything and it is destroying my sheets and mattress, and makes things difficult for me.

Am I the asshole for pleading with her to find a way to minimize this kind of issue?

I am neutral as far as what methodology is used- pad, tampon, some kind of device, shorts, whatever- press, leaving like a pool of blood in the bed and getting all over my sheets and other stuff.

Currently, I am stuck doing laundry while she has stomped off indignantly to my spare bedroom, presumably to bleed there as well in the same manner.

Also, for what it’s worth , I’m an equal opportunity kind of guy. I’m champion at doing the dishes, and will also do the dude stuff like fix her car. I’m generally helpful and accommodating.
