I’ve got an unused laptop that I’ve been wanting to do something useful with, and I thought it’d be a good excuse to turn into a Google Drive replacement with NextCloud. However, the primary reason I currently use GDrive (as opposed to other cloud sync software) is because I can do my work over the web through Google Docs and Google Spreadsheets and the like, without ever needing to fill my harddrive space with those files. Is this something I’ll be able to do with NextCloud? I’ve heard of their integration with office suits (relatedly: is LibreOffice included?) but I don’t know if that’s for the desktop client, and I’d still have local copies of my files, or if that’s for a web client and I wouldn’t need to have local copies unless I wanted to have a backup.

Thank you in advance for any responses; I hope I don’t come off as too green in this!
