I (25M) have been with my partner for 7 years. We’ve had numerous conversations over the years about what we would do in the event of her getting pregnant and are both 100% certain we do not want a child any time soon or possibly ever. We found out this morning that she is pregnant, likely about 6 weeks or so along. After discussion and being sure that we both do not want to keep this baby, We have made an appointment for tomorrow morning to terminate it. Thankfully we live in Canada so have great resources for this. I want to be prepared as I can to help her get through this and be there for her as much as possible. To any women that have gone through this is there any advice you could give or have anything that your partner did to help support you through it? I’m reading the online pamphlets from the clinic but would appreciate some first hand advice as well so that I can try to be the best support I can for her during this tough time. Thanks in advance.
