19th century horror show, an explorer, American heavy, medium lady and Frankenstein teaming up to fight supernatural evil in London… it sounds crazy but it was actually pretty good.

The acting was solid all around, Josh Hartnett was great and Vanessa Ives felt like a role made for Eva Green. It was cool that it got into modern British folklore, exploring characters like Dorian Gray etc.

Got quite gruesome and dark at times but yeah I felt it flew a bit under the radar, if you’re into the supernatural/period pieces then it’s the easiest recommendation ever.
