I saw the viral video of a pizza guy getting pissed about a $5 tip on a $20 pizza. In my mind I instantly called bullshit on the pizza cost. I opened up door dash and searched for pizza to check out the cost. A large 14” pepperoni from Pizza Hut is $15 plus fees. I wanted to see the final price so I kept hitting next until I accidentally placed the order. It didn’t ask me to confirm card expiration date or anything. I tried to cancel instantly but they would only refund the dasher fee and not the food cost. Final price $22 including a $2 tip. Which I feel like an ass about but I didn’t have any other cash to bump it up.

I very rarely use doordash and didn’t realize I was logged in and my card was loaded ready to go. The kicker is I was cooking braised short ribs and had no need for a pizza.

TL;DR: Accidentally ordered a pizza to win an argument about the cost of a pizza that I had with myself. Then ended up giving a horrible tip.
