The idea is once you start playing a live stream which and rewind it, 1.5x speed kicks in to help you to catch up.

I always use 1.5x for mostly audio streams but once you catch up with live stream it’s 1x again for obvious reasons. Once in a while you’ll get a call or need to pause. And when you’re continuing watching the stream you need to manually set 1.5x to catch up.

Great for live streams with chat interactions.
