Like the title says I don’t want to take my birth control pills anymore but I also really don’t want to get pregnant. I have a boyfriend who is lovely and supportive of me but he joked about not wanting to use condoms or pull out.

I understand it is more enjoyable for him to do it the way we always have but I’m just so tired of taking a pill everyday. And every 3 months I have to get a refill and then eventually I have to ask my doctor to write a new prescription for the same birth control.

Sex is more enjoyable for him than me and I’m fine with that. But when am I going to put a stop to letting men do whatever they want for the sake of their sexual gratification?

I understand that there isn’t really a form of effective birth control for men (besides condoms) given that their “cycle” is daily and they constantly create sperm.

But why do I have to wear a bullet proof vest when it makes more sense for him to take the bullets out of the gun? I’m tired and I want my normal hormones back. I’ve been on levora for 4 years now. I believe there is a time limit for that method. Also he has expressed that he will never ever get snipped. Ever no matter how old we are.

Anyways. Am I crazy for wanting him to wear condoms so that the burden of birth control isn’t only on me? Any one else feel this way?
