What the hell? Seriously I truly thought I’d seen it all and I know there are already threads on this, and it’s pretty evenly split, but I cannot get this goddamn movie out of my head.

I watched it alone one random Friday night like a few months ago, and knew absolutely nothing about it, and ended up staying the night at my then barely gf’s place. First time that had ever happened where I didn’t want to be alone after watching a horror movie.

Now I know the acting was bad and ruined it for some, but for me, I was able to ignore that factor and as a result it was next level horror for me. I had never seen anything’s like it. Just describing the to my gf made her ill.

I’ve never had such a visceral reaction from a horror movie. At least 4-5 scenes I cannot get out of my head still. I think the best way to truly appreciate horror is alone or with maybe a couple friends with absolutely no expectations.

Perhaps had I been warned it wouldn’t have affected me as much, but yeah this is the only horror movie I refuse to rewatch. What do you folks think of it?
