Just picked up my iPhone 15 Pro Max (Black for those who care) and here are some initial thoughts.

Build Overall the differences at first glance are subtle. When you pick up the device, the weight reduction/re-distrubtion is felt immediately. This is an under appreciated feature at first glance but it is noticeable in a welcoming way. The brushed titanium has a smooth premium feel.

The contoured edges of the enclosure paired with the ever so gently curved edges of the display make this fantastic to hold. You notice how much your pinky gets dug into by the squared off edges from previous models and it thanks you for the change. Dynamic island fades into the top of the display much like its other brother “Notchmontana”. So far, I haven’t experienced a killer feature for the Dynamic Island, but I’m sure with time, it will become more apparent.

Action Button The action button is… an absolute game changer in how I’m going to use my device going forward. Paired with shortcuts, this little pill shaped button opens up a whole world of control and efficiency. I quickly made a shortcut that creates a menu that gives me access to common used toggles and apps that I may want open. Even creating an action that will return to the Home Screen for me in case my privileged fingers do not dare to venture to the bottom to where the home bar is. Here is a link for those interested.

Camera Honestly haven’t been able to test the camera out to it’s full potential yet because of how new the phone is, depending on how this is all received, I may make a new post later further reviewing the camera (I am a professional photographer).
