I used to have a great relationship with my neighbor (5 years). Pleasant but nothing beyond “hello, have a nice day”. Sheʼs on the board of the HOA (condo).

I was an idiot and left my door unlocked yesterday. Well, she literally burst in. Like, just opened my door and came inside. I heard it and my dogs barking and come around the corner and sheʼs just standing there in my living room. The storm door was shut and the regular door was open. The storm door could easily be pushed open by my dogs.

There was no emergency, just some report of a missing/stolen car or something. No reason to burst into my place. She has my phone number.

I freaked out and screamed at her to get the fuck out and never do it again. Iʼm just worried about retaliation because sheʼs on the board.

But seriously, I feel like she is lucky I didnʼt call the police. Who feels entitled to do that? I mean, fucking board members, I guess.
