I hope it’s okay I ask this here, I’ve gotten creepy PMs from posting in the appropriate sub. I feel much safer on this sub.
I went on three great dates with a guy earlier this year who then stopped calling me. We stayed connected on Instagram and he would respond to my stories every now and then. A few months after our dates, I offered to take him out for a drink since he opened up to me about his grandfather’s passing. At that outing, he told me he missed me and didn’t feel ready a few months prior because he had only been out of his last relationship a few weeks.
We went to a movie where he held my hand and then we made out in the back seat of my car after talking a while. Seemed innocent enough. I told him I wanted to wait for sex since he had left/hurt me before/etc. He said that was fine. I was wearing a skirt and he said he wanted to tease me by putting himself just outside of me. Probably was too far, but teasing until I was ready felt hot. He pinned me down and kept repeating, “You want to wait huh?” I just responded yes each time. Then he slipped it in me. To be honest… it took me a second to realize he did. I feel ashamed I didn’t push him off of me or tell him to stop. I cried in my car after and felt awful for not defending the boundary I set.
This has to be some kind of assault, right? Maybe I wasn’t assertive enough about telling him I wanted to wait?
