my boyfriend’s birthday is coming up this month and he recently revealed to me that he really enjoys board games (we’ve only been together for a few months, so we still have a lot to learn about each other). I want to buy him one that he would enjoy, but I am lost since I don’t play board games.

He told me he particularly enjoys these games: Exploding Kittens, Catan, Carcassonne, Terraforming Mars, Trails of Tucana, Citadel, and Karak.

For more context about his likes, he loves to read, play chess, and he studies economics. Which I bring up beacause he told me he enjoys the “probability aspect” of board games.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I could get him?
