Unsure if this is allowed here.

I’m 21 years old, living at home with said parent and I live in Scotland.

Basically, one of my parents has taken out 3 credit cards in my name. 1 of them is with Aqua, 1 is with CapitalOne and the other is with Zable (according to ClearScore). I don’t have any access to these cards and they were taken out without my permission, over the last 2 years (again according to ClearScore). I can only assume that they used my passport to do this when they had it in their possession. I have since got a new passport.

My question is, what is the best way to go about dealing with this? I am thinking about paying all of them off using my own money, the total debt is about £2100. My idea is that I would like to contact each company, gain control of the accounts and pay them all off and start fresh. Would this be the best way, or do I have any other options? Would this also negatively impact my credit score if I was to pay them off?

Thanks!
