Good evening everyone. I’m Nyota, a 12 yo queen, white with tabby van markings. I live with Mother, and my younger (adopted) brother Zéphyr.
Yesterday, Mother was cooking, and I was in the mood for some cereal milk so, just in case she poured some cereal, I stood around. I do not climb on tables, unlike Zéphyr, because I’m not the whiny begging type, unlike Zéphyr (unless it’s time for my evening pâté, of course). As I stood on the floor behind Mother, she suddenly moved back, and CRUSHED my paw under the iron weight of her slipper! I screamed! I cried! I ran away to the living room!
She cried too in apology, and went to me, to beg for my forgiveness, but when I saw her I ran away again, and I didn’t let her touch me until evening came. (My paw’s fine, by the way.) Then we went to bed together, and I got my vengeance, because at 5:30 am I puked a hair ball on the comforter.
But now I wonder if this wasn’t going too far. Zéphyr (a serial puker who always pukes on the floor after eating greenery, never on fabric) says so. I’m not 100% sure though. What do you think? I was assaulted, after all.
