My 7 month SR just ended today. I really just need a place to vent since my lifestyle is secret.

I’ve read so many helpful things on this subject and appreciate you all for sharing. It’s a wonderful community.

We did our m&g 7 months ago and made a PPM arrangement. Everything was going well until he had last minute travel plans in May. It happens, but it was frustrating for me because I was expecting dates and the PPM. I have never canceled, am reliable and felt I had proved myself trustworthy. I asked him if he would be comfortable switching to allowance so that we could both enjoy more stability and flexibility. He was very open to it with the caveat that he didn’t want a clock watcher (which I have never been). We began allowance in June. Our dates increased and all was going well or so I thought. He has plans to visit home for 2 weeks in October and only planned 4 dates for us (one of which is my birthday weekend). Today he texted me and said he “forgot” to discuss October allowance. He told me he could send xxx today and xxx the 16th which is half of my monthly allowance. It didn’t set well with me. He basically offered PPM. I have never kept score, but went back through our dates. 12 dates in June, 10 dates in July, 9 dates in August, and 10 dates in September. The extra dates if we’re score keeping, were larger than my monthly allowance. I reached out to him and told him how I felt and that allowance should benefit us both. I pointed out the extra value he received and explained that it should be in my favor sometimes as well, especially in this case where our not being able to meet is no fault of mine.

He sent the xxx via Cashapp which is what we have been using since moving to allowance. I cashed out instantly.

He was unhappy with my message and also gave feelings of remorse over the situation and said he would try to get the other xxx to me in a few days.

Later today I checked my bank account and there is now a reversal on the transaction. Both transactions are pending, but it just makes me sick to my stomach to feel taken advantage of. I don’t know what will come of the reversal and have read extensively on the process. I guess I’ll see in 7-10 days.

I know cash is king, but you’d hope after that much time spent together that there would be some level of respect
